Why Vote?

Think about some of the services your municipal government is responsible for providing.

Roads. Public transit. Local policing. Clean drinking water. Sewer treatment. Parks. Recreation. Fire protection. Snow clearing. Garbage disposal. Street lights. Animal control.

The act of voting is at the heart of democracy. It helps choose the leaders of the government who will deliver these services to you and who will decide the level of service you get. Voting connects citizens. By taking part in an election, you help our democracy work.
