Meet the Candidates – Susan Pearcey for Council

My name is Susan Pearcey- an avid community volunteer, proud mom, & devoted teacher.

In 2005, I moved to Mount Pearl & began teaching at O’Donel High. I live & work in Mount Pearl with my two sons, Jack & Spencer. (Go Patriots)

After years of encouragement from fellow volunteers, I’m excited to run for City Council. I am eager to begin this responsibility because I believe Mount Pearl needs a new voice – one that identifies, advocates, & connects with young families, recognizing the issues that need attention. If elected, I will work to increase visibility & community services for our seniors, connect with youth & work alongside the young people in our community to reinvigorate volunteerism, Mount Pearl pride, and ensure that our city is keeping up with changes in technology, media, & the future of community engagement.

I kindly seek your support this October.
