With over 30 years of experience in the private sector, I retired as District Key Account Manager for Heinz Canada, where I oversaw operations across Atlantic Canada. My career focused on business development, sales leadership, and corporate strategy—skills that now inform my approach to municipal governance. I’m driven by results, collaboration, and strategic decision-making, all grounded in decades of leadership experience.
Mount Pearl has always been home. My parents, Mary and Irv Antle, settled here in 1952—before the city was incorporated. I was born and raised in this community, married Roxanne Ryan in 1984, and we raised our children, Ryan and Megan, here. Today, as a proud grandfather of five—including two grandchildren living in Mount Pearl—I’m committed to ensuring our city remains a vibrant place to live for generations to come.
As a City Councillor, I’ve had the honour of serving in a wide range of leadership roles, including:
Co-Chair: Planning, Engineering & Development (Current)
Co-Chair: Corporate Services (Finance) & Economic Development
Co-Chair: Community Development & Planning
Board Member: Eastern Regional Service Board (Finance Committee)
Co-Chair: Regional Fire and Water Services
Past Vice-Chair: Northeast Avalon Joint Councils
Council Liaison: Mount Pearl Library Board, Ministerial Community Supper
Canada Games Committee: Transportation Supervisor – Team Gushue
These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our city. I remain dedicated to driving progress, fostering inclusive growth, and enhancing quality of life in Mount Pearl.
