Meet the Candidates – Bailey Rempel for Council

Bailey grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, into an industrious family marked by entrepreneurs and self-starting personalities. Her family was involved in construction projects and various other business ventures, which helped formulate her early years and exposed her to experiences in different provinces and territories throughout Canada.

Guided by her upbringing, Bailey ventured into various roles throughout her career, working for medium to large Construction companies, and spanning industries from Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy and infrastructure. Bailey currently works for Peter Kiewit & Sons (Kiewit) as a District Manager for Eastern Canada, on some of the largest infrastructure Projects in Canada. In her role, she oversees project teams who cover aspects of Quality, Document Control, Completions and Handover.

She has worked and lived throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, including Corner Brook, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and Mount Pearl, which for the last three years she has called home.

Bailey, with her husband and two daughters, aged 7 and 9, have vested interests in this community. Both kids attend school, sports, and extracurricular activities in Mount Pearl. She is driven by her strong sense of family, entrepreneurial spirit, and a hard work ethic, which she will bring to City Council.
